EmmUcare Home Health, formerly known as Helping Hands Home Health, began as a small operation based in Kayla's home, where she initially worked with just one computer while juggling this initiative alongside a full-time nursing position.

As the business grew, EmmUcare Home Health reached a major milestone by opening its first office location in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Kayla continued working as a nurse during this time. Eventually, the business’s demand led her to make a life-changing decision: leaving her nursing role to fully dedicate herself to running EmmUcare Home Health.

With her team EmmUcare continued to expand, leading to the opening of a second office location in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Building on that success, the company opened a third office in State College, followed by a fourth office in Harrisburg, and soon after, a fifth and most recent office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In addition to this growth, EmmUcare broadened its service offering by launching EmmUcare Medical Supplies, a local medical supply store in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. 

In early 2024, EmmUcare Home Health transitioned into a franchise model, giving new entrepreneurs the opportunity to own and manage their own home care businesses under the trusted EmmUcare brand. With comprehensive training, ongoing support, and a proven business framework, EmmUcare equips franchisees to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

This transition marks the incredible journey of EmmUcare Home Health, which began as a home-based operation led by Kayla and evolved into a multi-location business with two franchisees already in operation!
