Our Story
Founded in 2017 by Kayla Borgess, LPN, EmmUcare Home Health began as a small, home-based business in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with a mission to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care that helps individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.
With her nursing background and passion for serving others, Kayla, alongside her husband, Brooks Borgess, has led EmmUcare's continued growth through a shared vision of compassionate, client-centered care. Together, with the support of an exceptional team, they have expanded the company into five successful locations, building a trusted reputation for high-quality in-home care while never losing sight of their commitment to delivering exceptional care to every client and family they serve.
As the company continued to grow, EmmUcare Home Health also launched EmmUcare Medical Supplies, providing quality medical equipment and healthcare products to support individuals living safely and independently at home.
In 2023, they expanded their vision by launching the EmmUcare Franchise, creating an opportunity for entrepreneurs to build their own successful home care businesses using the same systems, processes, and strategies that helped grow EmmUcare. Today, Kayla and her team work directly with franchise partners, providing hands-on training, mentorship, and ongoing support to help them confidently open and operate their own EmmUcare Home Health locations.
Today, EmmUcare Home Health proudly serves communities throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and continues to grow while remaining committed to the values it was built on: compassionate care, strong community relationships, and professional service.
