Humble Beginnings
EmmUcare Home Health, formerly Helping Hands Home Health, started in 2017 as a small operation in Kayla’s home where she managed everything from a single computer while balancing a full-time nursing career, driven by a passion for providing compassionate care.
Growing to Serve More Communities
As demand grew, EmmUcare opened its 1st Location in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Kayla continued working as a nurse during this time until the business reached a point where she could fully dedicate herself to growing EmmUcare Home Health.
Expanding Across Pennsylvania
With a dedicated team and growing client base, EmmUcare expanded to multiple locations:
- Bloomsburg – 2nd Location
- State College – 3rd Location
- Harrisburg – 4th Location
- Pittsburgh – 5th Location
Broadening Our Services
To better serve our communities, EmmUcare launched EmmUcare Medical Supplies in Williamsport, providing a trusted local source for medical equipment and supplies.
Becoming a Franchise
In early 2024, EmmUcare transitioned into a franchise model, giving aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to own and operate their own home care businesses under the trusted EmmUcare brand. With comprehensive training, ongoing support, and a proven framework, franchisees are equipped to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Worth noting: EmmUcare is the first home health franchise to originate from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, making it a true local success story with a growing presence across the state.
