EmmUcare Home Health, formerly known as Helping Hands Home Health, began as a small operation based in Kayla's home, where she initially worked with just one computer while juggling this initiative alongside a full-time nursing position.

As the business grew, EmmUcare Home Health reached a major milestone by opening its first office location in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Kayla continued working as a nurse during this time. Eventually, the business’s demand led her to make a life-changing decision, leaving her nursing role to fully dedicate herself to running EmmUcare Home Health.

With her team EmmUcare Home Health continued to expand, which led to the opening of a second office location in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. With the success of this expansion, EmmUcare Home Health opened a third office in State College, Pennsylvania, followed by a fourth office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Soon after the establishment of the Harrisburg location, EmmUcare reached another milestone by opening the fifth and most recent office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In addition to these office expansions, EmmUcare broadened its services by launching EmmUcare Medical Supplies, a local medical supply store in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. 

In early 2024, EmmUcare Home Health transitioned into a franchise model, giving new entrepreneurs the opportunity to own and manage their own home health care businesses under the trusted EmmUcare Home Health brand. With comprehensive training, ongoing support, and a proven business framework, EmmUcare Home Health equips franchisees to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

This transition marks the growth of EmmUcare Home Health, which began as a home-based operation led by Kayla and evolved into a multi-location business with two franchisees in operation!
